Scrip Sales is an easy way for you to fundraise for the Tabb Tiger Band by purchasing electronic gift cards from nationally-known retail stores. The only difference is that you purchase them through a distribution center and a part of the profit is returned to the band.
Scrip fundraising is a year-round, no-selling program that allows families to raise money to benefit the Band Program. Scrip is just another way to pay for everyday purchases using electronic gift cards in place of cash, checks, and credit cards. The gift cards work like this – you can buy a $25 iTunes card that has a rebate of 5%. The rebate is then sent to the band. The rebate varies among retailers, generally from 2% to more than 15%…and occasionally higher when specials and promotions are going on.
Physical gift cards — like you can purchase at the grocery store and elsewhere — will be ordered in the October / November timeframe, so as to insure delivery in time for holiday gift giving.
Electronic gift cards are available for purchase year-round. This is accomplished by using the ScripNow portion of this program.
Just use the Scrip program anytime you go to a vendor in the program (and there are hundreds of vendors enrolled, such as AMC theaters, Starbucks, iTunes, PapaJohns, Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.). This is great for everyday purchases, as well as teacher/graduation/holiday gifts.
How to get started:
1) Go to https://www.shopwithscrip.com/
2) Click on REGISTER in the upper right-hand corner
3) Click on “Join a Scrip Program” at the bottom left of the page
4) Enter the Tabb Tiger Band Parent enrollment code (5132D44B95L9) or scan this QR code, which will take you directly to step #5:
5) Create your registration – username, password, Account Information, email address and security questions
After that, your account is set up and the Scrip Coordinator will receive notification that you are registered.
If you want to order the electronic gift cards (ScripNow), then it is recommended you sign up for PrestoPay. This is a service just like PayPal and IS VERY SECURE. This will allow you to order and receive eCards without any waiting. Otherwise, in order to receive your eCards, you will have to get a check to the TTBP treasurer and she will notify the Scrip coordinator that a check was received and it is unknown how long that will take.
PrestoPay registration is available once your ShopWithScrip account is set up. Follow the links on the dashboard once you have logged in and it will walk you through the process.
