Mr. Lawson is in his eighth year as the Band Director at Tabb High School. He is responsible for overseeing and teaching all aspects of the band program, including Percussion Class, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, and Marching Band. Mr. Lawson also sponsors THS’s chapter of Tri-M National Music Honor Society.
Mr. Lawson is a member of the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA); NAfME (National Association for Music Education); Delta Omicron, International Professional Music Fraternity; the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi; and Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education. He is a proud resident of Yorktown, VA, along with his wife Olivia, son Warren, and dog Dunkin.
